Family Memory Archive is invitation-only. You join because a family admin invited you — there is no public sign-up, and the archive never appears in search engines.

Signing in
1. Open the app URL (save it to your browser favorites). 2. Enter your email and password. 3. Select Login. If your family's deployment has Google sign-in enabled, you can also use Continue with Google.
Creating your account (from an invitation)
1. Open your invitation link (sent by email, or shared as a link/QR code). 2. Create a password — or use Google sign-in, if available. 3. Complete the onboarding prompts. See Invitations & Sharing for how invitations work end to end.
Resetting your password
1. On the Login screen, choose Forgot password? 2. Enter your email address. 3. Open the reset email and follow the link. 4. Set a new password and sign in.
First-time setup (onboarding)
On your first sign-in, a short onboarding flow helps connect you to the family graph: 1. Welcome. 2. Map yourself to your person profile — this links your login to the right person in the tree. 3. Review your tree position — confirm where you sit among relatives. 4. Add profile basics — name, preferred name, a photo. 5. Complete a first action — e.g., add a memory or a relationship. Linked to the wrong person? If onboarding connects you to the wrong person in the tree, a family admin can re-map your account. See FAQ.
Changing your language
The app is fully bilingual (English / Spanish). Use the EN / ES switch in the header; labels refresh instantly.
Installing the app on your phone
Family Memory Archive is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it installs like a native app without an app store. 1. Open the app in your mobile browser. 2. Tap Install if prompted, or use your browser's "Add to Home Screen". 3. Launch it from your home screen like any other app.
